We were in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to service one of our new customers. The new customers was looking to update their kitchen by adding ceramic tile. The customers was Mr. and Mrs. Sutter. They Sutter’s was wanting an affordable, but durable ceramic tile to improve the value and look of their kitchen. The kitchen flooring hadn’t been updated in twenty or more years. Our team took measures of the area, went over ceramic tile selections and options with the couple, and then wrote out an estimate. The couple immediately hired our company. We scheduled the ceramic tile installation for the following Friday. We told the couple we would move all the appliances and furniture out for them. Our team arrived on time on Friday and the couple was ready for us. We cleared the room and immediately started to remove the old flooring. We immediately ran into a problem. One of the main floor joints was rotting, so we informed the couple and replaced it. Once we finished the installation, we gave the couple the bill. The couple asked why there was no difference in the price, due to the flooring joint needing replaced. We just did that as an added favor and benefit to the couple. Weeks later, we received a letter from Mr. and Mrs. Sutter. The letter thanked us for our service and outstanding responsiveness. They let us know that they have been telling all their friends how we went above and beyond for their ceramic tile installation.
